In short: The Funkelkopf app does not collect any personal data. There are no ads, no tracking and no user account, and the app works completely offline. This website does not use cookies, analytics tools or external fonts either.

2. The Funkelkopf app
Funkelkopf is a drawing and learning game app for children. We deliberately built the app so that no personal data is collected, stored or shared.
- There is no user account and no sign-in.
- The app contains no advertising.
- The app contains no analytics, statistics or tracking tools – not even from third parties.
- The app does not connect to our servers and works completely offline.
- The app contains no external links, no chat and no way to share or publish content.
3. Data that stays on the device
So that children can find their pictures again, the app stores drawings and settings (e.g. music and sounds on/off) only locally on the iPad. This data never leaves the device and is not sent to us. It is deleted when the app is removed. Depending on the device settings, it may be part of an iCloud or device backup by Apple, which we have no access to.
4. In-app purchases
The app offers optional one-time purchases (e.g. additional coloring books or the full version). These are handled exclusively by Apple (App Store). We do not receive any payment or personal data – only Apple's confirmation of whether a purchase is unlocked. Apple's privacy policy applies. Purchases in the app are protected by a parental gate.
5. Children
The app is intended for children aged 3 and up and is listed as "Made for Kids" (ages 5 and under) on the App Store. As we do not collect any data at all, no children's data is processed either.
6. This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics or tracking tools and loads no third-party content (e.g. no external fonts, maps or videos).
Hosting
We run this website on our own server, which we manage ourselves. The server and data center are provided by domainfactory GmbH, Oskar-Messter-Straße 33, 85737 Ismaning, Germany. Data is processed in data centers in Germany. We have concluded a data processing agreement with domainfactory in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
When you visit the website
To deliver the pages to your browser, your browser must technically transmit your IP address to our server, along with information such as the requested page and the browser type. This data is only used for the duration of the connection. Our web server is configured not to store access logs – your IP address is therefore not recorded permanently. Error logs can only arise in the event of serious technical errors; we keep them only as long as necessary to fix the error.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Encryption
The website is delivered exclusively via encrypted HTTPS.
Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we use your details only to answer your request and delete them once they are no longer needed for this purpose, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Please contact us at the address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (www.dsb.gv.at).
8. Changes
Should the app or this website change in a way that involves processing data, we will update this privacy policy beforehand.
